Wednesday Playground: Garfield Park

Playtime tomorrow at Garfield park!  It will be fun to create the traffic light, patrol giving out tickets for failing to follow road law and etc. Tracey will be glad to take care of materials and etc. Let Tracey know if you want to help out or share ideas.

Tracey will bring the Go! Slow Down! Stop! Pasta meal. Please help to bring forks, napkins and bowls. Do not forget to bring your own drinks. Starting 5:30 to then….

Still craving for one of those mouthwateringly delicious cupcakes from Sweets for the Sweet? Or did you miss our Sweets for the Sweet cupcake sales?
No sweet sweat.
For the Memorial weekend, Sweets for the Sweet is now taking orders for your holiday celebrations!
Ms. Tracey Kempton from Capitol Hill,  will take orders for the following delicious cupcakes: Surprise Snickers!, Snicker-dooooodle, Flower Lollipoppy, Memorable Mocha, and Coconutty.
Packages:
12 cupcakes for $24
24 for $45
36 for $65
If your order includes any Flower Lollipoppy cupcakes, please add $1 more per lollipop cupcake.
The order needs to be submitted by Thursday May 27 by 9pm for pickup at Ms. Kempton’s Capitol Hill house on Sunday (May 30) or Monday (May 31). Please email your orders to Ms. Kempton at rkktmk@aol.com. At this time, we are able to accept only cash.

Hope this message reach you early. If you are planning to take your kid(s) to the play ground at Lincoln Park today, bring cup or bowl with spoon for the delicious turkey & rice soup!  Help and bring extras for others in case we have new families joining us.

SAT 5/22: ASL STORYTIME at the NE Library

Julie Mitchiner is performing a very last ASL Storytime on this coming Saturday at the Northeast Library. The storytime starts from 10 30am to 11am and after that, the kids will get some treats. The next ASL Storytime will not happen until Fall 2010.


WED Playground: Lincoln Park — Bouncing Ball Day

CHCDP is hosting a bouncing ball day at the Lincoln Park tomorrow Wednesday anytime after 5 00pm. Bring any kind of balls. Tomorrow afternoon is supposed to be sunny. Please bring your own drinks for your kids.

It is a free service for you on Mondays and Wednesdays afternoon/evenings and Sundays from 9 to 2pm. 2010 Capitol Hill 4th of JulyParade and Family Festival

Capitiol Hill is having 2010 Capitol Hill 4th of July Parade and Family Festival on Sunday, July 4th from 11am to 4pm.

There is a talk about possibly of set up a group of Deaf Cap Hill residents marching together during the parade. This includes both families and non families residents.

Tracey Kempton is happy to bake cupcakes for the Sweets for the Sweet bakery stand on that day. And perhaps either selling or giving away the deaf related products.
